Marquis d'Angerville, Volnay 1er Cru Vintage:2012 The tannins are soft and(from Pitures and lOrmeau but no young vines from the other crus). A slightly more complex nose offers up more refined aromas of plum, spice and violets. The sleek, vibrant, detailed and mineral inflected flavors offer fine depth before culminating in a mildly lean and linear finish that is presently on the austere side. Note that my projected range assumes that this will flesh out as it ages and as such this would not be an especially good candidate
