Baptisia 'Cinnamon Candles' starts flowering for us in mid April, when the 50" tall spikes of bicolor chocolate and gold flowers emerge above the foliage. Our breeding focus has been on spikes that rise well above the foliage, and in our trials, the spikes top the foliage by 2'. We
