2023 Domaine Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc Burgundy, France Rivers-Marie A small portion of SBThis Chardonnay is sourced entirely from biodynamically farmed parcels within Puligny MontrachetBluses, Pr la Dame, Femelotte, Champ Perrier, and Equincemaking it unusually Puligny true for the appellation. Fruit is hand harvested, pressed gently, and fermented in oak (about 1012% new), then aged 12 months in barrel and a further 6 months in tank before a light fining and very light filtration if needed. The 2023 shows the houses hallmark precision:
