Aspidistra lutea JLBG 12 09 Mai Chau Rostrinucula discovered in 2015 by ZacAspidistra lutea 'Mai Chau' is a 2024 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a 2012 collection of the late Alan Galloway, who found it growing near the town of Mai Chau (west of Hanoi), in Vietnam's Hoa Binh province. Like Aspidistra zongbayi, it is a dwarf growing species with wide leaves that spread outward instead of upright.
