Antique German Sterling Gilt Silver Floral Engraved Repousse Snuff Pill Box 1880 Sold Honolulu Museum of ArtSOLD An elegant German Sterling Silver gilt repousse decorated snuff or pill box, circa 1880. The hinged lid decorated with a repousse work floral basket design, the side of the box with corresponding floral & scrolled design, the box opens and closes with ease and closes tightly. The box is stamped to the underside "935 Sterling Germany", which makes it a slightly higher grade than sterling silver, this box most likely made for the American market.
